Senior Research Fellow, Department of Academic Cardiology
I held the post of Research Fellow at Department
of Academic Cardiology, and was involved in a research
to model and statistically analyze large retrospective
(TEN-HMS) and prospective (Hull Telecare Project)
data sets related to the home tele-monitoring of
heart failure patients. My duties included designing
databases for the capture and integration of data
with existing clinical data sets and providing innovative
statistical analysis of survival and hospitalization
outcomes. I also designed and developed a suite
of algorithms for detection and statistical analysis
of survival data to predict events using MATLAB.
This research, under the supervision of Prof. John
Clealand, explored the relationship between weight
changes and acute de-compensation in heart failure
patient. |

Senior Research
Fellow - Department of Cardiology – Hull University
Currently I hold the post of Research Fellow at
Department of Academic Cardiology, Hull University
and involved in a research to organise and statistically
analyse large retrospective (TEN-HMS) and prospective
(Hull Telecare Project) data sets related to the
home telemonitoring of heart failure patients. My
duties include to design appropriate databases for
the capture and integration of data with existing
clinical data sets and provide innovative software
solutions for visualization and statistical analysis
of survival and hospitalisation outcomes. I am responsible
for the design and development of a suite of detection
and statistical analysis of survival data algorithms
to predict events. This research under the supervision
of Prof. John Cleland, explores the relationship
between weight changes and acute decompensation
in heart failure patients |

The works involved the design and development of
an Object Oriented database for the menopause clinic
using the database builder Omnis 7 on the Apple
Mackintosh computer, to design and develop a case
management system for the menopause clinic involving
a "Finger Prints" facility which is a security aspect
to protect patients data, and also the design of
a client server network to interface to database
products on ORACLE on two laboratories servers and
the hospital's mainframe utilizing Omnis 7 integrated
